MUSSELS IN BRINE

Bornholms Mussels in Brine are made from exquisite Chilean/Danish mussels. We gently pre-cook the mussels, whereupon we immediately can them, adding brine to retain the fine and natural taste. Large and magnificent, the mussels can be eaten without requiring further preparation. The product may contain an occasional piece of shell.

Some mussels contained in this can may have kept part of their byssus (natural attachment thread).

Bornholms Smoked Mussels in Garlic Oil are made from exquisite Chilean mussels. We gently pre-cook the mussels, whereupon they are smoked over red-hot woodchip. As the mussels are canned, we add garlic oil. Bornholms Mussels in Garlic Oil has a delicious taste of smoke and garlic.
